Salisbury Pinto Bean Burger

Pinto Beans, cooked and drained
Canola Oil
Onions, peeled and diced medium
Mushrooms, small diced
Garlic, minced
Black pepper, ground
Water

Combine Ground Beef Mix, Chicken Mix, Beef Broth Powder, and pinto beans in medium bowl. Stir well and set aside.
Heat oil in a large (3-4 quart) pan over medium heat.
Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic, and sauté until onions are transparent. 
Add water to pan and mix until evenly dispersed.
Add sauteed vegetable mixture to bowl with protein and bean mixture. Stir until well incorporated. 
Divide mixture into 6 even sized portions and press into patties.
Preheat lightly oiled pan or grill to medium-low.  Lightly oil each patty to prevent sticking.  Place on heated pan/grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on first side, until lightly browned.  Flip and brown for 1-2 more minutes on second side.  Burger should be firm when gently pressed.

Serve with bun and traditional burger fixings.
